Information will be updated here continuously, and we will notify you about all the news on our Facebook event.

Program
We will have three full days of music, so please plan to arrive at the festival on Friday afternoon and leave the festival area on Monday morning. Artists will be launched continuously, and the timetable will be published shortly before the festival.

Location
The festival will take place at the most beautiful little farm in Numedal – the forgotten valley of Norway. It is called Søre Risteigen gård and is owned by a lovely couple that you will meet at the festival.
Numedalsvegen 5749, 3628 Veggli.

Transportation
We arrange buses that will take you from Oslo Central Station all the way to the festival area and back. This is by far the best option for all guests. It is simple, safe, cheap, and environmentally friendly. We will put up more busses if they are sold out. Find the tickets HERE.
Pick-up point in Oslo will be in Operagata, right next to the opera house. The exact location can be found HERE. Be there 30 minutes before departure so we have time to check tickets and covid-19 documentation of everybody.

Arrival
These is the opening hours for ticket scanning and covid verification. You can not enter the festival outside these hours.

Camping or glamping
There will be a dedicated camping area a little aside from the festival area. We encourage you to keep this space a bit chill and calm for those who wish to relax and bring the noise and party to the festival ground. Camping with your own tent is included in the ticket.
You can also choose to book a pre-setup lavvo. This is a great option for you who can not bring so much luggage, or just want the experience to be a bit easier. The tents will be set up for you prior to your arrival, and contain both floors and beds. You only need to bring a sleeping bag. Obs! Some tents can also be booked without beds! Book lavvosHERE.
It will not be allowed with camping cars at the festival site, only tents. If you are planning to sleep in your car, you must be aware that this will require some walking to get to the festival area.

We will have clean and functional “outdoor-toilets”. There will also be very simple showers that you can use. But they are not celled, so bring a bathing suit if that makes your more comfortable. There is also a fantastic river where you can swim and get clean.

We love our nature
We are so thankful that we have the possibility to enjoy our beautiful nature with you, so we will leave the area as we found it – or even better! Leave absolutely no garbage on the ground, not as much as one single cigarette! We will have a clearly marked recycling station, both on the festival and camping area, and more garbage cans around the areas.

Waste management
It is important that everyone follows the instructions for waste on-site. All garbage will be sorted after the festival, which is why we will use see-through bags.

We take care of each other
Most importantly: We treat each other like family at Monument Festival. We behave respectfully, help each other when needed, and give hugs when they are wanted. We definitely do not take things that do not belong to us, jump the queue or harass anyone for any reason.

Food and drinks
We will have several local vendors providing healthy and locally sourced food. We will have both vegan, vegetarian, and carnivore food.

These is the main times for food service throughout the festival:

Breakfast: 10.30
Dinner: 18.00 – 21.00
Night snack: 02.00 – 03.30

Saturday.

Sunday.
Breakfast: 10.00 – 12.00
Dinner:18.00 – 21.00

You can bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks in sealed un-opened bottles, to the camping area of the festival. We also recommend bringing an empty water bottle, that you can fill for free at the festival. You may not bring alcoholic drinks into the festival. Alcoholic drinks may only be purchased from our bar, and because of the COVID restrictions, they may only be consumed seated in the bar area.

Cashless
We will not handle any cash at the festival. We will use a voucher system, bought with cards (debet or credit).

Yoga and breathwork
Let’s start the day together. Connecting back to yourself, your mind, and your body. Ingrid A.A. will guide us through inclusive yoga sessions each morning of this year’s festival. Wake up with soft flows and movement accompanied by an atmosphere created by the first artist of the day. Through breathwork, we unify and enter a state of mind in the MNMT spirit that sets us up for the rest of the day.

Emergency
We will have an emergency team available at all times. You will find them by the info desk close to the camp.

Accessibility or other needs?
We want to be able to include anyone and give all guests an optimal festival experience. If you have any accessibility needs, help with storing medication, if you will be escorted by a service animal, etc, please let us know. Write Hallvard an email, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Age limit
Yes, you must be 21 years old to attend the festival.

Public event
All necessary approvals from local public instances, municipalities and police is in order for our festival.

Covid-19 and cancellations
We aim to have the Monument Festival 2021 as planned, on 13-15th of August. We are so happy that the outlook is very positive, although we acknowledge the uncertainty many still experience. If we are forced to postpone the festival, your ticket will be valid next year. In any case, we highly recommend having cancellation rights on any form of travel due to the uncertainty of Covid-19 regulations.

You can get your ticket refunded (except for the ticket administration fee):
•  If the festival is cancelled
•  If the festival is postponed, you can get a refund within the first 14 days after the announcement
•  You test positive for Covid-19 within a 14 day period prior to the festival
•  Travel restriction imposed by your country of residence or government of Norway

We at Monument have our guest’s safety as a top priority, and we will at all times follow government guidelines. You can read the updated policy from the Norwegian Government here.

Force Majeure
If anything happens during the festival that is out of our control and we are forced to cancel mid-festival, we will try to provide earlier transport back to Oslo S. If it is safe to do so, you are allowed to stay at the festival camp until Monday and leave with the arranged transport then. We will not provide refunds after the festival has started.

Covid-19 and entrance
When arriving at the festival, everyone must provide documentation that they have either negative tests of covid-19 or a vaccine pass approved by Norwegian authorities. We will not provide on-site testing, so this MUST be prepared in advance. Read more HERE.
