Shoal (LIVE+DJ)

Whether he’s DJing or performing live, Shoal seems to continuously challenge himself on a creative level. Each live set is a winding river of emotions transcribed into music, a walk-through of the artist’s experiences and places he’s been to. Two years ago, the absolute beauty of his first-ever live set at Isotoop’s Sunday Ambient session left us simply speechless. We feel now honoured to welcome him both on our label and on the lineup of Monument Festival 2021, where he treated us with his versatile skills.

Our Utrecht-based friend firstly took that chance to demonstrate how intelligent his music vision is with an extremely well-curated afternoon dj-set.

And he plugged in his machines in the late morning to present his beautiful, very personal vision of ambient music, offering an hour of blissful electronics tainted with field recordings.
